We are looking for an outstanding sales and marketing leader who can take our Westchester County-based schools to the next level of growth. This is a senior leadership position that will oversee our region’s marketing and sales funnel, driving awareness of our program and ensuring an outstanding sales process. The right candidate will be able to blend digital marketing with direct, community outreach and grassroots marketing and sales efforts. This leader will oversee sales training, monitor the health of our customer pipeline, and ensure outstanding customer service. Over time, there is the opportunity for advanced promotion and executive leadership for the right candidate.  
 
Job Position: Sales and Relationship Director/ Regional or Individual School 
 
Summary:  Oversees the quality and success of the sales & service/front desk operations of Goldfish Swim School including sales functions, customer service, retail, and vending. Manages regional outreach activities and marketing to generate sales leads and then oversees processes to successfully execute on those opportunities. Provides weekly audits to General Manager and ownership of marketing and sales performance. Goldfish Swim School operates on a monthly membership basis, previous experience in selling club memberships and related products is a plus. Will consider commission-based compensation packages.   

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Develops and executes marketing and sales plans to drive school growth.
  2. Creates business-to-business relationships and structures to drive school growth.
  3. Engages in active community and school outreach to create sources of lead development
  4. Manages and develops digital content (search, social, email and other) for sales, marketing and branding efforts
  5. Actively tracks and focuses on achieving high conversion rates of all sales leads   
  6. Publishes frequent customer/sales messages on numerous digital platforms 
  7. Creates repeatable, scalable processes to ensure quality and business growth
  8. Provides sales and marketing training to all qualified sales staff.
  9. Provides leadership, discipline and constructive feedback to our Front Desk Representatives.
  10. Provides training of Front Desk staff to provide superior performance in customer service, understanding of software tools, Point of Sale and promotional items.
  11. Ensures phone calls and emails are being responded to professionally and in a timely manner.
  12. Assists in directing and controlling the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to GSS standard operating procedures.
  13. Assists in the management of Front Desk staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
  14. Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in our software to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions.
  15. Holds monthly meetings with the Front Desk staff and Management to go over performance reviews (GSRs). Provides agenda items to address during meetings.
  16. Provides a weekly audit of the Registration/Withdrawal Log that gets reconciled against the Period Summary Report for accuracy. Reports and explains any discrepancies.
  17. Provides audit results of the Lead System (Total Number of Leads, Missing Leads, Contacted Leads, Enrolled Leads).
  18. Updates the Complete Withdrawal Log on a weekly basis.
  19. Maintains the entire direct debit reporting - Debt/Class Outstanding Balances overseen by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  20. Acts as main contact person for the Salesforce and ICP software; ensures all information is accurate.
  21. Maintains all the monthly reporting through ICP software.
  22. Sets sales incentives for the front desk employees in conjunction with General Manager, to assure that overall goals are considered.
  23. Ensures the retail and vending areas are clean, professional, stocked, labeled and profitable.
  24. Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Education/Experience: College degree required; MBA or similar preferred. Four or more years of previous sales, customer service and/or administrative office experience are required. Strong computer skills required using Google Suite, Excel, Salesforce and other software systems. Must demonstrate strong communication skills (writing, typing and digital communication).
